Our New Home: Updates and What We Bought So Far (November 2021)

We are officially less than 1 month away from our official move to Nevada! I’ve been living in Vegas temporarily for a few weeks on and off in order to get things started, and it’s been quite a ride! Making a new house a home is an exciting, but long process, especially when deliveries are delayed and you're waiting on restocks. The perfectionist in me always wants to wait until things are 100% done before sharing them, but honestly, half of the fun comes from the journey it took to get there. So, I’m going against my OCD tendencies and sharing everything we have inside our home so far! Enjoy your first peek at our little work in progress desert oasis!
Note: Some things are unfortunately now sold out so I’ve linked similars. Also, not everything I linked is shown in the photos, there are a few things that have yet to be hung, installed, and/or completed.

To be honest, I feel like we’ve been in a bit of a limbo stage due to our floors not being done. The vinyl plank color we chose is limited in stock so we’re currently waiting on more to come in. In the meantime I’ve been holding off on bigger furniture items because I haven’t felt confident in purchasing due to the fact that I don’t know how they will look together with the finished flooring, so I’ve decided to wait until our floors are completed (whenever the heck that will be lol).

I’m currently in the middle of putting together our dresser, however, it’s definitely not worth it (it’s not gold like the photos, super unstable, and difficult to assemble - hence the reason why it’s taking me so long to finish lol) so I am not providing the link. I never want to share anything that I don’t 100% love, but I wanted to share the mirror so here’s a look at my mid-construction mess haha. Also I ordered matching nightstands but they’re completely out of stock so I’m unable to share those.

Due to the construction in our backyard, our patio furniture is being stored so I don’t have a photo, but I am linking the products we have so far!
